Virtual art placement “Try before you buy”

Avoid disappointment and decide with confidence.

How will a piece of art look in your home or office? “Try before you buy” Virtual art placement could be the answer.

Very often we have a specific place in our home or office where we would like to hand a nice piece of art, to liven up the space, to inspire or to add just that bit of extra to the room.

From our own experience

A while ago we ourselves had exactly the same issue. We had completely redecorated our home interior and had all new furniture delivered. This was a total make-over of our home. After it was done we were thrilled with the outcome, all except for just one thing…that empty wall.

One large open space on the wall was just screaming out to have something special placed there. But that is not as easy as it sounds. It took us quite some time until we came across a painting we liked very much. This was great, but also posed us with a new issue…how would it look in our on on that wall?

It happend on a trip through South-Africa, actually on the very last day just before we headed to the airport for our flight home. We passed by a Gallery specialised in local African Art, and decided to go in and have a look. There we saw the painting “Zebra on Red” by South-African artist Nic van Rensburg.

I fell in love with this painting right there and then. This had exactly what I was looking for. It was large enough to fill the space we had in mind for it, it was bright in colours with the red combined with the black and white Zebra and it was an original by a very talented and highly respected artist, Nic van  Rensburg.

After having looked at it multiple times, we finally didn’t purchase the painting then and there, even though we were just totally in love with it. The risk of it not fitting, both in space and design, was the reason we didn’t take it with us. Finally we did get back home and were filled with regrets of not having bought it.

I am sure that we are not alone in this, and that together with us many out there see an art which appeals to them very much…but don’t go ahead buying it, simply because they are unsure how it will look in their home or office. Virtual art placement could have been the solution for me then…

How can we help?

We want to offer you a possibility to see the art we offer, hanging on that wall in your home or office. Just so you can get the feeling of how amazing the piece would look there. This will also help you decide whether this is what you were looking for, just like we had experienced.

Buying art is very personal, and especially when you are considering having the art shipped to your home anywhere in the world, you want to see how it would look before investing in the artwork and the shipping cost. This will avoid disappointment and help you decide with confidence.

How does this work? Well very easy actually!

If you are interested in one or more specific artworks just let us know via info@nwabisa.com and we will contact you to get started.

What do we need to make this happen?

Send us one or more photos of the wall and space where you want to hang the artwork.

Give us the measurements of the wall so we can place the artwork in the correct dimensions.  We use Photoshop to place the artwork in the space on the wall of your choice.

That way you can see how it will actually look. Having the painting in the right size will give you the feeling of whether it is the right size for the location you want it to be placed.

We will then send you the photos and you can decide whether you like it and if you want to go ahead and purchase the artwork.

What’s the catch?

There is no catch, there are no obligations! We just want to make sure you are happy with the choice you make.

After all Nwabisa does mean “Bring Happiness” and that is always our aim!

Contact us today on info@nwabisa.com to get your Virtual art placement done for your favourite artwork(s). We will be happy to do it for you

International Day of the Forests

When we drink a glass of water, write in a notebook, take medicine for a fever or build a house, we do not always make the connection with forests. And yet, these and many other aspects of our lives are linked to forests in one way or another. Forests, their sustainable management and use of resources, including in fragile ecosystems, are key to combating climate change, and to contributing to the prosperity and well-being of current and future generations. Forests also play a crucial role in poverty alleviation and in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Reflect on Hope not Fear

The aim of this blog is not to practice politics, but (in the spirit of Madiba) to see how our choices may reflect our hopes rather than our fears. The reason for starting Nwabisa African Art goes back a long way and has been a process similar to fruit ripening and getting ready to fall from the tree.
