My name is Sabelo Mkhaliphi, I was born in Soweto Johannesburg (South Africa) in 1986.

My first experience as an artist was when I was in primary school doing grade 4. Et that time I got an opportunity to be selected to attend an afternoon t class at Kopanong community center in Dobsenville Soweto.

It was here that I realised that I wanted to pursue my career in this field.

I believe that being an artist is something that one is born to do. I had most of my art study from my father who is also an artist. I went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error and self learning, studying the works of many artists that I seen on social media today.

I work primarily in oil, acrylic paints and collage, and I currently work from home in Soweto Johannesburg. 

My work is focused on telling the African women life experiences.
